Inspiration Wall of the Day

I’ve had this old Elle magazine article about New York decoupage artist John Derian pinned up on my office inspiration board for months. I’m simply in love with his inspiration wall — layers of photos, cards, letters and little works of art — propped up on a wire frame. In the full version, you can see that he’s added a golden windchime at the bottom. Charming!

i agree – it’s intriguing, especially against the sparse background.

Sorry to be the odd one out, but that would drive me insane to stare at. Too disheveled for my taste… I guess I’m more of a clean lines kind of gal…

i envy how he has layered all those photos together but i’d truly love it if it was more neat. :) i’m all eyes for neat and beautiful things. guess i do love simplicity.

btw, lovely new blog. i love the layout and everything about it! the comment system is really smooth as well.

    great job, love! x
